Serves 6
Ingredients
- 1 small onion, chopped
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 ½ milk
- 1 ¼ cups chicken broth
- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 1 bag frozen mixed vegies
- 1 can biscuits
Directions
- Cook chopped onion and butter in 3 qt. saucepan over medium heat for 5 min.
- Stir in flour, salt & pepper, milk and chicken broth.
- Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat, add in cooked shredded chicken and frozen veggies.
- Blend butter, 2 c. flour, ½ c. sugar. Press into ungreased 9×13 pan
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve over biscuits.
