Archery – Family Opportunities

12:00 PM – Beginners

We are excited to continue our Family Archery Program! Archery is a great sport for all ability levels! We hope that many of you can take advantage of the opportunity!

Classes will be held on Wednesdays. This class is intended for current, future, and interested eligible Special Olympics athletes and their families. All must have a Chicago Park District Activenet account that is free to set up. Those athletes that have been designated for the team will have practice at 11:00 AM and a beginner class will be held at 12:00 PM. We will be partnering with the Northside Archery Club who will help instruct and assist with any training needs!

Athletes must arrive with a chaperone and that stays on-site for the duration of the lesson. Masks are required and there will be limited participants in each class so sign up today! Groups would need to sign up each participant individually but only one chaperone is needed for the entire group.

This activity will be inside. All equipment will be sanitized between use and social distancing will be enforced. Everyone must pre-register and you can register for multiple classes! Each athlete can register with up to 3 additional family members or friends.

Please do not register if you are not sure you will be able to attend. Please be on time! The entrance is on Clark St. Metered parking is available and there is a paid lot attached to the mall with a reduced fee.
