Archery – Family Opportunities
September 21, 2022 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm CDT

Classes will be held on Wednesdays. This class is intended for the Archery Team Special Olympics athletes and their families. All must have a Chicago Park District Activenet account that is free to set up. Those athletes that have been designated for the team, will have practice at 11 am. We will be partnering with the Northside Archery Club who will be there to help instruct and assist with any training needs! Athletes must arrive with a chaperone and that chaperone must stay on-site for the duration of the lesson. There will be a limit on the number of participants in each class so sign up today! Everyone must pre-register and you can register for multiple classes! Each athlete can register with up to 3 additional family members or friends. This activity will be inside. Please do not register if you are not sure you will be able to attend and please be on time!
Archery is a great sport for all ability levels! We hope that many of you can take advantage of the opportunity! Groups would need to sign up each participant individually but only one chaperone is needed for the entire group.
If there are any issues with your registration or the timeslot is at capacity, a member of the Chicago Park District Special Olympics team will reach out to you. Otherwise, you are all set and you will receive an email the week of your reservation with final details.
The Chicago Park District Special Olympics team is excited to be able to host another round of Family
Opportunities! The Fall Family Opportunities will run from September 12–December 6. Some seasonal
activities may end earlier. Family members need to register Special Olympic Chicago athletes for each
reservation they would like to make through the links below. Athletes are invited to bring up to 3
additional family members for most activities with them for the activities listed below. There will not be
CPD staff facilitating all of these activities so each athlete must arrive with a chaperone and that
chaperone must stay for the duration of the activity.
These are Chicago Park District events, so athletes must have a Chicago Park District Activenet account – free and easy, sign up here:
