Open Swim – Family Opportunities
September 13, 2022 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm CDT
Are you ready to swim? Register for a timeslot for Open Swim at Ellis Park on Tuesdays! Reservations are made for a 1-hour timeslot for an athlete and up to 3 additional family members. Athletes must arrive with a parent/guardian/chaperone and they must stay on-site for the duration of the reservation. Please do not sign up if you aren’t sure that you can make the timeslot. If something comes up, and you can no longer make it, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so that we can offer the slot to someone on the waiting list. Spots are limited! The Chicago Park District Special Olympics team is excited to be able to host another round of Family
Opportunities! The Fall Family Opportunities will run from September 12–December 6. Some seasonal
activities may end earlier. Family members need to register Special Olympic Chicago athletes for each
reservation they would like to make through the links below. Athletes are invited to bring up to 3
additional family members for most activities with them for the activities listed below. There will not be
CPD staff facilitating all of these activities so each athlete must arrive with a chaperone and that
chaperone must stay for the duration of the activity.
