POUND Fitness – Family Opportunities

Join us in this fun fitness class great for all abilities and fitness levels! Get your arms and legs moving with drumsticks/pencils (use whatever you have!) to the beats of music. Michelle Buckmaster from the Chicago Park District’s Wellness program instructs through a ZOOM platform and will have you sweating!
What is POUND Fitness?
Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and Pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.
Classes are Mondays, 1:00–2:00 PM and Tuesdays, 10:30–11:30 AM.
