I joined the Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children’s Charities Associate Board after doing the friends and family jump at the 24 hour Super Polar Plunge a few years ago! 🐻❄️ After hearing each athlete speak about their experience with Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children’s Charities and the profound ways they have been affected by Special Olympics, I remembered the impact that coaches and mentors had on me through high school and college sports. Being on the Associate Board is a fulfilling way to help athletes in the same way so many coaches helped me.
I loved the recent golf fundraising event. My whole family was able to join us and support SOC/SCC that day!
