Indoor Rowing – Family Opportunities

Come and join us for indoor rowing!  The meeting place for this adventure is Clark Park and a parking lot as well s street parking is available. We are joining efforts with Chicago Rowing Foundation  to learn and practice the sport of Rowing.  Rowing is a fun activity for people of all ages and ability levels.  This activity is a family opportunity that welcomes current, future or interested eligible Special Olympics Chicago athletes.  A family member/chaperone must accompany the athlete,  For this activity, chaperones do not need to be in the boat. Due to limited spots, athletes can only have one person accompany them.  There will be instruction on how and what to do!  Spaces are limited!  Each class can only host 8 individuals so sign up today!  Sign up for as many classes as you like and if we have too many we will make sure that everyone gets an opportunity to try it out before allowing families to come for multiple dates.  Register today and we will be in touch with your confirmation. 

The Chicago Park District Special Olympics team is excited to be able to host another round of Family
Opportunities! The Fall Family Opportunities will run from September 12–December 6. Some seasonal
activities may end earlier. Family members need to register Special Olympic Chicago athletes for each
reservation they would like to make through the links below. Athletes are invited to bring up to 3
additional family members for most activities with them for the activities listed below. There will not be
CPD staff facilitating all of these activities so each athlete must arrive with a chaperone and that
chaperone must stay for the duration of the activity.
